1. Agreement
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using QuickCut Studio, you agree to these License Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software and contact support within the applicable refund period.
2. License
A direct one-time purchase grants one individual a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use QuickCut Studio on up to two Macs that the purchaser personally controls. The license permits personal, educational, and commercial video-editing work.
The license does not permit sharing the installer as a substitute for another person's purchase, reselling or sublicensing the software, bypassing access controls, or reverse engineering except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Free beta access
While QuickCut is offered as a free public beta, downloading the beta grants one individual a limited evaluation license to install and use it on up to two personally controlled Macs. Beta software may contain defects or change before general release. Free beta access does not itself include a paid license, guaranteed future updates, or paid-service benefits.
You may use videos exported during the beta for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. Feedback and issue reports are welcome but not required.
4. Ownership and your content
QuickCut Studio and its software, branding, and documentation remain the property of Reality Web Services, LLC and its licensors. You retain ownership of the videos, audio, images, project files, and exports you create or edit. You are responsible for having permission to use the media and other content you provide.
5. Updates
Your purchase includes permanent use of the version purchased and access to updates Reality Web Services releases during the first year after purchase. Continued operation of an installed version does not require renewal. A future major upgrade may be offered separately.
6. Optional third-party services
Gemini, AssemblyAI, Ollama, and other optional providers are separate services governed by their own terms, availability, pricing, quotas, and privacy practices. You are responsible for provider accounts and charges you choose to incur. Experimental Rough Cut results should be reviewed before use or export.
7. Availability and support
We work to maintain compatibility and correct material defects, but uninterrupted operation with every media format, Mac configuration, third-party service, or future operating-system release cannot be guaranteed. Support is provided through the QuickCut Support Center.
8. Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickCut Studio is provided without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. Keep backups of source media and project files and review exports before publishing. Reality Web Services is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the software.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
9. Refunds and termination
Direct purchases are subject to the QuickCut Refund Policy. App Store purchases are administered under Apple's applicable purchasing and refund terms. This license may be terminated for a material violation of these terms; upon termination, use and distribution of the software must stop.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms for future releases or purchases. Changes do not remove rights already granted for a completed purchase except where required by law. Questions can be submitted through the Support Center.
