DoughFu - Tofu Dough

Do you like to make your own dough? If you do, I have a fun way to add some protein by using tofu. This
simple recipe is
similar to how you would make your dough if you were using a potato to make Gnocchi, but your replace
the starchy potato
with the protein of the tofu. It’s vegan / vegetarian and healthy.
OK, here’s what you need to do.
Ingredients
⅔ of the tofu from a
standard tofu package
1 cup of
organic all-purpose flour - add more as needed
Pinch of salt
Dash of garlic
Directions
Mix together all your ingredients.
The moisture from the tofu helps it bind with the flour.
Continue to knead and fold the flour. Add a little extra flour if needed but after about 10 minutes the
dough should no
longer be sticky. They means it’s ready!
You could wrap it in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for a few days or use it immediatly to
make whatever you would make with dough!
